The project LNG Gorskayais is the creation of high-performance Russian company-producer of LNG, which has its own fleet, providing, as the delivery of LNG to customers in Europe and the bunkering of vessels in the Gulf of Finland.
Liquefied natural gas will be produced on a non-self-propelled barge (ship-factory). The total capacity of the plant is designed for processing of 1.968 billion m3 of natural gas per year, which corresponds to the production of 1.26 million tons of LNG.
The complex LNG Gorskaya will consist of three lines of annual processing capacity of 656 million m3 each administered queues; in the end of 2017 (Phase 1), in the end of 2019 (Phase 2), in the end of 2021 (Phase 3). Entering production capacity for marine LNG successive stages avoids the creation of excess capacity in the initial phase of the project.
Delivery of LNG to consumers will be carried out by vessels refueling (bunkering), equipped with deck system of LNG storage in tank containers. Bunkering vessels, anchored in the Gulf of Finland, to be carried out under the scheme <ship-to-ship>.
In the first phase of the project will be built 3 bunkering carriers with a capacity of 7000 m3 each and ship-plant with the production line for liquefied natural gas. Also, in the first phase will be made in the preparation of the ground infrastructure port of Gorskaya (construction pier, loading rack and gas pipeline).
LNG Gorskaya plans to enter the production facility into operation in December 2017 and at the same time to start selling LNG.
